Private Party Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT
Deposit of $50 will be required to hold your reservation, with the balance due by one week PRIOR to beginning. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date when cancellation or request to reschedule is made fewer than 10 days to the event date. The deposit must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice.
TRAVEL
We do not travel more than 20 miles 1-way. If address exceeds 20 miles from our address in Spring City and we have agreed to travel beyond that point, a $40 travel fee will be applied.
DESIGN & FLAVORS
Design theme & flavor choices due by 4 weeks prior.
PREPARATION
In-person-I require the space of the class/workshop have necessary number of chairs and tables to accommodate the number of attendees, disposable tablecloths and a broom and dustpan to clean up. I will provide all supplies to conduct the party, collect trash, wipe down tables and sweep upon completion.
NUMBER OF ATTENDEES
The minimum required guest is 8 for all parties.
I ask for a final head count by 1 week prior. I do not bring extra supplies. If guests are less than submitted, you can keep the extras but there is no refund after the final headcount & payment as we begin preparations which utilize lots of supplies.
SHARING
Each registration is for 1 registrant and cannot be shared with another person. Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, projects are not able to be shared between two people. All decorators must be registered individually. Only one set of tools and materials is provided for each project, even if the workshop is a shared event. Parents/guardians may help children, of course
TRANSFERS
Registration payments for cancellation or missed attendance cannot be transferred to a future event. If a registrant has purchased a registration and are unable to attend, they may resell their registration privately or pickup their kit to do at home.
REFUNDS
While we understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, we’ve held a seat and prepared for each registrant’s arrival, with labor and food materials. If they are not able to attend, we are happy to pack the food materials for their project to-go if they’d like to make an appointment to pick it up within 24 hours so that you can complete their project at home. No refunds will be issued to anyone who registers and cancels or fails to show, for any reason, including illness. Registration cannot be transferred to a different event, private or public.
CANCELLATION by SCHWARTZ & SPRINKLES
Classes/parties may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling due to low enrollment or inclement weather. If this occurs, we will refund each participant.
LATE ARRIVAL
We cannot delay the start time or start over for late arrivals, nor can we guarantee that missed portions of the instruction can be made up at the end, as there may be an event scheduled after. Check in for every event begins 15 minutes prior to the start time.
NATUAL DISASTERS/ACTS OF GOD
Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Schwartz & Sprinkles Custom Cakes, LLC, to complete this agreement when delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to, Acts of God, Government restrictions, weather, and or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the company.
ALLERGY WARNING
Our products may contain eggs, corn, nuts, gluten and milk. While none of our products contain nuts unless ordered, the facility in which the products are made is not nut-free. I use and keep a wide range of items in my kitchen, which include nuts and shellfish. I do keep such items in containers to help reduce the risk of contact with other items. With this note, please be aware that I cannot be responsible for any allergic reactions. All attendees will be required to sign our Hold Harmless Agreement prior to event beginning.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We often take photos of classes and parties in progress for use on our social media sites and our website. Photos and videos depicting hands and work in progress can and will be used without signed release forms. If faces are shown in pictures, they will be blurred out to protect the identity of attendees.
HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
By signing my name below, I agree, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators to not sue and to release and hold harmless Schwartz & Sprinkles Custom Cakes, LLC and their instructors and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever including without limitation fatality, bodily injury, and property damage arising from me or my child's participation in parties/ workshops.
Registrants are expected to behave safely and appropriately with all tools and food materials.
Our staff reserves the right to remove any guest that is behaving recklessly or posing a danger to themselves, other guests or staff without any refund of monies paid or further liability to Schwartz & Sprinkles Custom Cakes, LLC
Clothing: We recommend bringing your own apron, we will not be liable for any stains from food materials on guests’ clothing or belongings.
Allergies: I acknowledge that Schwartz & Sprinkles Custom Cakes, LLC has made no promise of allergen free food products or of an allergen free environment nor can Schwartz & Sprinkles Custom Cakes accommodate dietary restrictions.
